Dynamic Eye REAL Function Details

Image Focus Composition Software Dynamic Eye REAL

Advanced Form of Focus Composition

DER_HP_feature03.gif

While you move the stage of the microscope up and down, Dynamic Eye REAL keeps on capturing images at various depths to create a composite in-focus image in real time. A preview image of the composite image is also available so you can make sure it is accurate and what you're looking for. Although the conventional focus composition technology is based on separately captured Z-depth images, e-Tiling continuously captures images to make observations more efficient.

Auto image capturing system using motor-driven and coupler/motor-driven stage

The software only requires the setting of three parameters for an object to be captured for focus merging: the object's top position, bottom position and a capture interval. Once these have been set, the CCD camera automatically captures up to 256 images of the object to be merged into one in-focus image. The software is designed to allow the capturing of the images to be performed with concurrent storage of their captured positions as height information for later use by the software 3D Viewer (optional) to obtain a 3D view of the resulting in-focus merged image and execute its analysis and measurement.

Easy-to-use interface

Tree Directory, Thumbnail Display The software provides tree directory and thumbnail display, allowing you to quickly check the images stored in the system and select the ones you want to merge into an in-focus image.

Allows focus merging of images of object in three modes depending on the object's surface texture: fine, normal, and smooth. This enables the images to be merged into a high-quality in-focus image.

Fine Select this mode for objects with many fine "concave" and "convex" portions on their surfaces, such as minerals, particles, powders or fibers.
Normal Select this mode for objects with little luster and large "concave" and "convex" portions on their surfaces.
Smooth Select this mode for objects with extremely large "concave" and "convex" portions on their surfaces, such as solder balls, electronic component parts, plastic component parts or wire bonding parts. This mode can also be used for objects with a lustrous surface, such as metals.

Adaptable for use with stereo microscopes

The software is designed to be adaptable for use with a stereo microscope through its function [Auto Positioning] designed to correct misalignment of the optical axis caused by upward/downward rough/fine movement of the microscope's stage, enabling its characteristics to be put to good use in the focus merging operation to create a three-dimensional in-focus image.
